CWF News 2010 CWF Fall Retreat Cambria Pines Lodge–Cambria, CA September 24–26, 2010
The cost includes four meals and two nights lodging. The retreat begins on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. (Dinner is on your own on Friday.) Ideal Curtis will be the speaker at the retreat and we will have breakout sessions with other speakers and lots of fun surprises. Registration brochures were mailed out the first week in July. Nursery/Junior Church The Nursery/Junior Church has been going great. The number of kids coming on a regular basis has been exponentially increasing, which is great. We recently learned about when Jesus told the rich young man to sell your possessions and give to the poor, and the young man did so. It was an interesting lesson for that Sunday, because it came after the fire that devastated Rudy and Jessica's family. And, of course one child said "don't worry Miss Lisa, I am going to give them some of my toys because they don't have any and I have too much."
