Welcome!!
TRACY WEHAGEN – DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRIES
Tracy Wehagen is our newest addition to the staff here at First Christian Church. She has a passion for ministry and a love of youth in particular. Come out this Sunday and meet her in Sunday School at 9:30 and Youth Group at 3:30! We also have a Youth Bible Study every Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Youth Room at the church.
Our youth program invites those who are in Middle School and High School to come and explore their faith. Sunday School is available and encourages active thought and consideration of faith issues. We understand that while there are no easy answers to life's questions, there are ways of searching for guidance that will bring us closer to a fulfilling life in Christ.
Come out Sunday afternoons and have fun with us. There is a short devotional and then we are involved in various activities.
An Active Work Day
When we heard there was some work to be done around the church, we said, "Let's do it!" We trimmed the trees, cleaned out the prayer garden behind the sanctuary, cleaned windows and did some maintenance work on the roof. Then there were those shrubs in the front of the church that had died and looked really bad ... trimmed and gone! Pizza parties are fun, but sometimes it just feels good to do something real.

Say, why does Clayton look like a "second story guy" who just got caught? It appears he had some accomplices holding the ladder!

It looks like Lisa is going to take that rake from Ella and give her a deserved rest. That Prayer Garden is surely looking better.
Stephanie, the rake is behind you.

Paul, you surely made a mess before it got better.

Joke of the Week
A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late! Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late!"
While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again! As she ran she once
again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don’t let me be late...But please don’t shove me either!"
